How to use the Planleave PTO Tracker

  1. Set up your account: Create a new account for your company and add your employees to the system.
  2. Customize your settings: Set your PTO policy parameters when you sign up, such as accrual rates, maximum balances, and blackout dates. As the admin you can also set up your Leave Types.
  3. Employee requests: Your employees can request time off through the tool, specifying the dates they want to take off and the reason for their absence.
  4. Manager approval: Once an employee has requested time off, their manager will receive a notification and can approve or deny the request through the platform, email or through Slack.
  5. PTO balance tracking: The tool will automatically deduct the appropriate amount of vacation time from the employee’s balance and update it in real-time.
